Raptor Report Template: Header Generator

This tool generates a header file for the report templates used by Raptor. Specify a company name (and/or address block) and select the associated logo file.

Guidance for generating a customized report header

  1. Go to the website https://raptor-api.macroarraydx.com/ReportTemplate.
  2. Enter your company name and address in the designated field. The first line will always be printed in bold.
  3. Upload a logo for the report by clicking on "Browse" (or similar button label, depending on your browser language) and select your logo file. File formats such as .jpg and .png are supported. For decent quality, you should have a height of at least 100 pixels.
  4. Generate the _header.html file by clicking on "Generate report and download report template file" and a window will pop up. Click "Save file" and the _header.html file will be saved in your downloads folder.
  5. Go to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Raptor Analysis Software\Files\ReportTemplates. This is where Raptor stores its default, automatically installed report templates. Take the folder MADx Design (English) [EN] (or another language-specific folder) and copy this folder to C:\Raptor\ReportTemplates.
  6. Rename this new folder to "your" Design, for example rename it to Company X [EN]. [EN] needs to be included at the end of the name of the folder, because this is used to detect the language of the template
    For other languages one of the the following language codes needs to be included in the name of the folder:
    • Arabic: [AR]
    • Bulgarian: [BG]
    • Croatian: [HR]
    • Czech: [CS]
    • English: [EN]
    • French: [FR]
    • German: [DE]
    • Greek: [EL]
    • Italian: [IT]
    • Polish: [PL]
    • Russian: [RU]
    • Spanish: [ES]
    • Turkish: [TR]
    • Ukrainian: [UK]
  7. Copy the _header.html from the previous steps into this new folder. Simply replace any _header.html that may already be there.
  8. Do not directly change the content of the MADX Design folders. These are the default report templates and will be overwritten on updates of the Raptor software.
  9. Start Raptor. Now your new customized report template is available for selection in "Report Settings".
